For many year the students at Chillingham have participated in the Primary Ethics Program. It is an excellent program giving the students an equal opportunity to voice their opinions about everyday issues and age appropriate moral delemas, in an inclusive and structure discussion.
The students that have participated in this program from Kindergarten to Year 6 thoroughly enjoy the discussion they have and develop their speaking and listening skills enhancing their ability to express their ideas. It also develops the valuable quality of accepting that others have different viewpoints, and that's OK.
We have been very fortunate the have three wonderful teachers leading the program until now, when they have all retired. We thanks them for their service to the many students they have taught in their time with us.
